Monitor Acer Nitro VG270W3b (UM.HV0EE.309) 27" Full HD IPS LED 1920x1080 1 ms VESA nero

The Acer Nitro VG270W3b is a 27" Full HD LED monitor with an IPS panel that delivers wide 178°/178° viewing angles and a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It combines a fast 1 ms response time and up to 240 Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync support, integrated speakers and VESA mounting compatibility, making it suitable for gaming, multimedia and everyday productivity in a compact black design.

Advantages

The IPS panel provides consistent colours and wide viewing angles while the 240 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time reduce motion blur and input lag for smoother gameplay. Built-in speakers and VESA support add convenience for desktop setups, and the monitor meets standard energy consumption metrics for SDR and HDR use.

Suitable for

• Fast-paced gaming and esports where high refresh rate and low response time matter
• Multimedia playback, video streaming and casual content creation
• General office work and multi-window productivity
• Users who need VESA mounting for custom monitor arms or wall mounts

When it may not be suitable

This monitor uses a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution on a 27" screen, so users who prioritise very high pixel density for detailed photo editing or professional colour-critical work may prefer higher-resolution displays. Also, built-in speakers are convenient but may not replace a dedicated audio setup for demanding sound quality.

How to use

Connect the monitor to your PC or console using a compatible video output and cable supported by your source device. Adjust the display settings on your computer or console to enable the desired refresh rate (up to 240 Hz) and activate AMD FreeSync if supported by your graphics card. Use the on-screen display (OSD) menu to fine-tune brightness, contrast and colour settings, and mount the monitor on a VESA arm or wall bracket if required. If better audio is needed, connect external speakers or headphones.

What to consider before purchase

• Screen resolution vs. size: 27" with Full HD yields moderate pixel density—consider higher resolution for detailed visual work
• Confirm your graphics card and cables support 240 Hz at Full HD and AMD FreeSync if you plan competitive gaming
• If audio quality is critical, plan for external speakers despite built-in speakers
• Check VESA mount compatibility and available desk space for size and ergonomics

Recommendations

For competitive gaming, set your GPU output to the monitor's native resolution and highest refresh rate, enable FreeSync to reduce screen tearing, and use the OSD’s game or low-latency modes to optimise response. For everyday use, lower brightness to conserve energy and extend panel lifetime.
