Monitor Acer Predator UM.HX3EE.501 27" 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 pixel

The Acer Predator UM.HX3EE.501 is a 27" 4K Ultra HD monitor with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and an IPS panel. The display delivers wide 178° viewing angles and a flat screen shape suitable for multi-monitor setups. With a rapid 0.5 ms response time and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1, the panel provides clear motion rendering and balanced image depth. The monitor is supplied in black, includes built-in speakers, supports VESA mounting and offers height adjustment for ergonomic positioning.

Advantages

The 27-inch 4K resolution increases pixel density for detailed images and precise on-screen work. The IPS panel ensures colour consistency and wide viewing angles across horizontal and vertical planes. A 0.5 ms response time reduces motion blur in fast-moving scenes, while the 1000:1 contrast ratio maintains good separation between light and dark areas. Integrated speakers simplify basic audio needs and VESA compatibility allows flexible mounting options. Adjustable height supports ergonomic setup and reduces neck strain during prolonged use.

Suitable for

• Gaming where high resolution and low response time are important
• Photo and video editing that requires accurate colour and high pixel density
• Office and productivity tasks with multiple windows or detailed spreadsheets
• Home entertainment and streaming with integrated speakers
• Multi-monitor configurations using VESA mounts

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket. Connect video sources using the appropriate cable supported by your graphics card. Adjust the height to align the top third of the screen with eye level for ergonomic viewing. Use the on-screen display controls to select resolution, colour settings and picture modes appropriate for the task. For optimal 4K performance, ensure the connected device and cable support 3840 x 2160 at the desired refresh rate.

Recommendations

For accurate colour-critical work, allow the panel to warm up for 20–30 minutes before final colour grading and use calibrated colour profiles. When gaming, enable the lowest practical response and refresh options in both the monitor OSD and the graphics driver to reduce motion artefacts. To manage energy consumption, use power-saving modes during extended idle periods and check HDR settings to avoid higher energy use.
