Advantages

This monitor supports AMD FreeSync™ Premium to reduce screen tearing and stutter by synchronizing the display refresh rate with your graphics card. An overclocked 165 Hz refresh rate combined with a 0.5 ms response time (overclocked figures) provides smooth, low-latency motion for fast-paced content. HDR10 support improves contrast and color accuracy for compatible content, while Acer BlueLightShield™, Flickerless™, ComfyView™ and Low Dimming™ technologies help reduce eye strain during extended sessions. The ZeroFrame design maximizes visible screen area and the tilt-adjustable stand improves ergonomic comfort.

Suitable for

• Competitive and casual gaming that benefits from high refresh rates and low response time
• Watching HDR-enabled video and multimedia with improved contrast
• General office work and web browsing requiring a reliable Full HD IPS display
• Multi-monitor setups using VESA mounting

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable surface or attach it to a compatible VESA mount. Connect the monitor to your PC or console via the supported video input (use a high-quality cable to enable higher refresh rates). In the monitor OSD or your graphics driver settings enable AMD FreeSync™ Premium if supported by your GPU, set the desired refresh rate (up to the 165 Hz overclocked value), and enable HDR where applicable. Adjust tilt for comfortable viewing and use the built-in speakers or external audio as needed.

Recommendations

For best gaming performance, use a system with a compatible AMD or NVIDIA GPU that supports variable refresh rates, set the display to the highest supported refresh rate in your OS or GPU control panel, and enable FreeSync to minimize tearing. When using HDR, ensure source content and playback applications support HDR10. To reduce eye fatigue, enable BlueLightShield and Flickerless modes and adjust brightness to suit ambient lighting.
