Mouse Evoluent VMDL USB Type-A laser

The Evoluent VMDL USB Type-A Laser is a right-hand vertical mouse designed for ergonomic office use. Its patented grooved button design secures fingertips in shallow grooves for more precise control, while the angled shape keeps the forearm in a neutral, handshake position to reduce twisting. The mouse uses a laser sensor for reliable tracking and connects via USB Type-A. It is available in grey and black and comes in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large.

Advantages

Grooved buttons stabilize fingertips and improve precision. The ergonomic vertical shape reduces forearm twisting and can help relieve wrist discomfort reported by users. An extended lower lip prevents the last finger from rubbing against the desk. Easily reachable thumb buttons on a contoured rest provide quick access to custom functions, and an adjustable pointer speed with LED indicators lets you switch between precision and fast navigation. The laser sensor supports dependable tracking on most surfaces.

How to use

Configure thumb and other buttons through the mouse configuration software or system settings to assign functions like copy, paste or Excel horizontal scrolling.

Recommendations

For ergonomic benefit, choose the VMDL size (Small, Medium or Large) that matches your hand. Use lower pointer speed (lower DPI) for precision tasks such as photo editing, and higher pointer speed for general navigation. Keep the mouse cable free from obstructions to maintain smooth movement and ensure the laser sensor surface is clean for reliable tracking.
