The MSI PRO B550M-P WiFi6E brings Wi-Fi 6E connectivity to the proven AMD B550 platform in a compact micro-ATX form factor. Unlike many budget boards that rely on older wireless standards, this model includes the latest 6 GHz band for low-latency gaming and smooth 4K streaming, while retaining full support for Ryzen 5000 and 3000 series processors.

Highlights

• AMD B550 chipset with AM4 socket for Ryzen 5000/3000 series
• Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 for high-speed wireless
• 4x DDR4 DIMM slots, up to 128 GB, overclocking up to 4400 MHz
• PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and dual M.2 slots for fast storage
• 7.1-channel HD audio with Realtek ALC897 codec
• Multiple display outputs: HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA

In daily use

This board is ideal for compact builds where a full-size ATX won't fit. The micro-ATX footprint fits easily into smaller cases, while the four memory slots give you room to grow. The Wi-Fi 6E module ensures you're ready for the newest routers, and the dual M.2 slots let you run a PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive for lightning-fast boot times. The rear I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and four USB 2.0 ports, plus HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA for flexible monitor connections. The Realtek ALC897 codec delivers crisp 7.1-channel audio, and the board includes both 4-pin RGB and 3-pin ARGB headers for customizable lighting.
