Nastro adesivo 3M 1436F alluminio morbido 50 m × 50 mm

3M 1436F Soft Aluminium adhesive tape is a conformable metallic tape supplied on a 50 m roll with a 50 mm width. The product features a thin aluminium backing combined with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to provide surface protection, sealing, shielding and simple repair capability. It is designed for applications that require a flexible metal tape that follows contours and provides a low-profile finish on HVAC systems, ductwork, insulation joints and general maintenance tasks.

Advantages

The soft aluminium backing conforms easily to irregular and curved surfaces while maintaining dimensional stability and metallic appearance. The pressure-sensitive adhesive gives good initial tack and reliable adhesion to common substrates used in building services and maintenance. Thin construction allows a low-profile application that reduces wrinkling and improves contact on seams and joints. The tape is suitable for short-term protection and sealing, offering corrosion-resistant aluminium surface properties and easy handling when applying by hand or with tape dispensers.

Suitable for

• Sealing and joining HVAC duct seams and fittings
• Wrapping and protecting insulation joints and edges
• Temporary repairs to metal surfaces or enclosures
• Electrical shielding and light reflective applications
• General maintenance where conformable metallic tape is needed

Key specifications

• Backing material: soft aluminium foil
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Roll length: 50 m
• Width: 50 mm
• Thickness: thin, conformable construction (metal foil with adhesive)
• Surface finish: metallic aluminium

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of oil, dust or loose particles for optimal adhesion. Measure and cut the required tape length, then press the aluminium tape onto the substrate, smoothing from the center outward to ensure full contact and reduce trapped air. For seams and joints, overlap adjacent tape edges slightly to provide continuous coverage. Apply firm pressure along the tape length to activate the adhesive and improve bond strength. For best results on curved or irregular profiles, trim and layer the tape as necessary, taking care to form tight edges around fittings.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve adhesive performance. For prolonged outdoor exposure or critical long-term sealing, evaluate suitability for your specific environment and consider using tapes or sealants explicitly rated for long-term outdoor resistance. Use personal protective gloves when cutting tape to avoid sharp foil edges.
