Nastro adesivo per imballaggio 3M KT-0000-2277-4, trasparente, 66 m × 50 mm, biassiale

Transparent packaging tape 3M KT-0000-2277-4, bi-axial, 66 m × 50 mm is a film-based sealing tape engineered for standard packaging tasks. The tape combines a clear appearance with a biaxially oriented backing that improves tear resistance and tensile strength in both machine and cross directions. With an aggressive adhesive formulated for carton sealing, it is suitable for manual application or use with a handheld dispenser in warehouses, shipping areas and e-commerce packing stations.

Advantages

The bi-axial film construction provides consistent tear resistance and dimensional stability, reducing the chance of tape splitting or stretching during application. The transparent finish preserves box labels and printed information while giving a clean look to sealed packages. Its adhesive offers reliable initial tack and long-term bond to common corrugated substrates, and the tape performs well under normal storage and transit conditions.

Suitable for

• Sealing corrugated cartons for shipping and storage
• E-commerce order packing and fulfillment operations
• Manual or dispenser application in warehouses and distribution centers
• General-purpose packaging where clear appearance is desired

Key specifications

• Length: 66 meters
• Width: 50 millimeters
• Material: biaxially oriented film backing
• Color: transparent/clear
• Adhesive: pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for carton sealing
• Tear resistance: improved biaxial tensile strength for reduced splitting

How to use

Apply the tape directly to clean, dry carton surfaces. For manual application, unroll the required length and press firmly along the seal to ensure full contact between tape and substrate. When using a handheld dispenser, align the tape on the dispenser roller, pull the tape across the carton seam and press down while cutting with the dispenser blade. Store rolls upright in a dry environment away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use at room temperature and apply to dust- and oil-free surfaces. When sealing heavy or overfilled cartons, consider double-taping or using reinforced tape. Test adhesion on coated or recycled board if uncertain about surface compatibility.
