Nastro per mascheratura Tesa 04434 10 m x 15 mm, giallo (pelle di elefante)

Tesa Masking Tape 04434 is a narrow, 10 m long masking tape with a 15 mm width and a distinctive 'Elephant hide' textured surface in yellow. It is developed for precise masking tasks during painting, finishing and surface protection. The tape’s texture and adhesive strength are balanced to enable clean paint edges and reliable temporary adhesion on a variety of substrates without leaving excessive residue when removed under appropriate conditions.

Advantages

The textured 'Elephant hide' backing provides dimensional stability and prevents paint bleed for sharper edges. The narrow 15 mm width allows for accurate masking along trim, joints and small details where standard-width tapes would be too wide. The adhesive is formulated for temporary use, securing the tape firmly during application yet permitting clean removal from many common surfaces. The yellow color improves visibility during application, helping ensure consistent placement.

Suitable for

• Precise masking when painting window frames, narrow moldings and detailed trim
• Temporary surface protection during small renovation tasks and touch-ups
• DIY and professional painting jobs that require narrow tape for straight paint edges
• Masking small components or edges in craft and hobby projects

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Width: 15 millimetres
• Color: yellow
• Backing: textured 'Elephant hide' surface for reduced paint bleed
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for temporary bonding
• Recommended use: interior painting and short-term surface protection

How to use

Ensure the surface is dry, clean and free from dust, oils or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear a suitable length, apply the tape firmly along the edge to be masked, smoothing it down to avoid gaps where paint could seep under. After painting, allow paint to be touch-dry according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions and remove the tape by pulling back slowly at a low angle to minimize edge lifting and residue. For prolonged exposure or delicate surfaces, test a small area first.

Recommendations

Use the tape for short-term masking jobs and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure or extended contact with high temperatures to reduce the risk of adhesive transfer. When masking freshly painted surfaces, remove the tape at the recommended time to achieve the cleanest edges.
