Nastro per mascheratura Tesa 4438-15-00 resistente ai raggi UV, lunghezza 50 m, larghezza 15 mm

Tesa masking tape 4438-15-00 UV resistant is a crepe-paper based adhesive tape supplied on a 50 m roll with 15 mm width. It is formulated for paint masking, surface protection and temporary fixing where UV stability is required. The tape offers reliable adhesion to a variety of substrates and is intended for indoor use and short-term outdoor exposure during painting and renovation tasks, providing clean removal without leaving residues when used under recommended conditions.

Advantages

The UV-resistant adhesive formulation reduces degradation and adhesive transfer when exposed to sunlight for limited periods, helping preserve edge definition during painting. The crepe-paper backing allows easy hand tear and precise application along edges. Designed to remove cleanly from many surfaces, the tape minimizes surface damage and reduces rework after paint application.

Suitable for

• Masking edges and trims during interior and short-term exterior painting
• Protecting surfaces from splashes and overspray
• Temporary holding and light bundling during renovation work
• Situations requiring clean removal and UV stability for a limited time

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Width: 15 mm
• Backing material: crepe paper
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive, UV-resistant formulation
• Recommended application: paint masking and surface protection
• Temperature range for application: suitable for normal ambient indoor temperatures and short-term outdoor exposure

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose particles before applying the tape. Unroll the required length and press the tape firmly along the edge or surface to ensure full contact. For best results, apply by hand and smooth the tape with light pressure to create a good seal against paint seepage. Remove the tape by pulling back slowly at a low angle, preferably within the time limits indicated for UV-resistant masking to avoid adhesive transfer.

Recommendations

Use this tape for short-term outdoor tasks and indoor painting where exposure to sunlight may occur. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure beyond the manufacturer's recommended limited UV time; test on a small inconspicuous area if adhesion or residue behavior on a specific surface is unknown.
