Nastro per mascheratura Tesa 50 mm x 50 m, marrone – Nastro per mascheratura

Tesa Kreppband 50 mm x 50 m is a brown painter's crepe tape designed for painting and surface protection. The crepe paper backing and pressure-sensitive adhesive provide a reliable bond to a variety of indoor surfaces while permitting clean removal without leaving significant residue when used as directed. The tape is suitable for masking edges, creating straight paint lines and securing lightweight materials during renovation or decorating tasks.

Advantages

The crepe paper construction offers conformability to uneven profiles and corners, while the adhesive balances tack and removability for neat paint edges. The 50 mm width enables efficient coverage of common trim and joint sizes, and the 50 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replacements on larger jobs. The brown color helps visual identification on work surfaces and the tape resists cracking when folded for hand tearing.

Suitable for

• Indoor painting and varnishing where clean edge definition is required
• Masking skirting boards, window frames and door edges
• Temporary holding of light materials during installation or finishing work
• DIY home renovation and professional painter tasks

Key specifications

• Material: crepe paper backing with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 50 m per roll
• Color: brown
• Suitable environment: indoor use

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application to ensure optimal adhesion. Unroll the required length and apply the tape firmly along the edge to be protected, pressing down to secure contact. For straight paint lines, align the tape carefully and smooth along the edge to prevent paint bleed. Remove the tape within the timeframe recommended for crepe tapes—typically after paint has dried to the touch but before full curing—to achieve the cleanest edge and minimise adhesive transfer.

Recommendations

Test on an inconspicuous area prior to extensive use on delicate surfaces. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure or application to freshly painted or highly sensitive finishes without verifying compatibility, as extended dwell times can increase the risk of residue or surface damage.
