Nastro per montaggio 3M 8899195

3M 8899195 mounting tape is a transparent, double-sided adhesive tape designed for secure fixation of lightweight to medium-weight items. With a length of 5 m, a width of 19 mm and a thickness of 1.1 mm, the tape fits a range of mounting tasks where an unobtrusive appearance and reliable bond are required. The clear construction minimizes visual impact while delivering strong initial tack and durable adhesion to many common substrates.

Advantages

The transparent mounting tape offers a discreet finish that preserves the look of surfaces while providing consistent holding power. It adheres quickly and forms a stable bond on smooth, clean surfaces, and can be applied in narrow or confined areas thanks to its 19 mm width. The 1.1 mm thickness balances conformability and strength, helping the tape accommodate slight surface irregularities without compromising adhesion. Designed for ease of use, the tape can be cut to length and handled without specialized tools.

How to use

Prepare surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry and free of dust, oils or other contaminants. Measure and cut the mounting tape to the required length, then remove the liner and press the adhesive firmly onto the first surface, applying even pressure along the tape. Remove the remaining liner if present, align the second surface and press firmly to ensure full contact. Allow time for the adhesive to develop maximum bond strength; avoid stressing the joint immediately after application.

Recommendations

Use at room temperature on dry, stable surfaces for best results. Avoid use on delicate or weak surfaces that could be damaged when removing the tape. For heavy loads or critical applications, consider mechanical fasteners or a higher-strength adhesive solution. Test on an inconspicuous area before full application when working with painted or sensitive materials.
