Nastro per pittori Tesa 4438-12-00, adesivo acrilico, lunghezza 50 m, larghezza 19 mm

Tesa 4438 masking tape with acrylic adhesive, 50 m length and 19 mm width, is designed for paint masking, surface protection and general-purpose bundling. The tape provides consistent adhesion on a variety of indoor substrates and allows for clean removal after short- to medium-term applications. Its narrow 19 mm width makes it suitable for precise masking tasks, trim work and craft projects where controlled application and neat paint edges are required.

Advantages

The acrylic adhesive offers reliable tack while being formulated for minimal residue on many common interior surfaces. The tape backing conforms moderately to flat and slightly curved surfaces, enabling accurate alignment along edges and mouldings. Its 50 m roll length reduces the frequency of roll changes on the job and supports continuous work. Designed for temporary masking, it balances adhesion and removability for indoor renovation and craft use.

Suitable for

• Interior painting and trim masking
• Surface protection during renovation and repair
• Craft projects, model making and DIY detailing
• Temporary bundling and light holding applications

Key specifications

• Adhesive type: acrylic
• Roll length: 50 m
• Width: 19 mm
• Backing material: paper (crepe-style backing)
• Intended use: indoor masking and surface protection
• Residue behavior: clean removal after short- to medium-term use on many substrates

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose particles before applying the tape. Unwind the required length and press the tape firmly along the edge to create a seal against paint bleed. For best results, apply the tape at room temperature and avoid stretching the tape during application to prevent lifting. Remove the tape slowly and steadily at an acute angle relative to the surface after the paint has dried to the touch or within the timeframe recommended for acrylic-masked surfaces.

Recommendations

For sensitive surfaces, test a short tape length in an inconspicuous area to confirm clean removability. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures if the tape is used as a temporary protective measure, as extended outdoor or high-heat conditions may affect adhesive removal.
