Nastro TESA 4163 nero 33m per isolare, contrassegnare, riparare

tesaflex® 4163 is a black PVC insulating tape designed for electrical and general-purpose applications. Made from soft PVC with an acrylate adhesive, the tape combines insulation, labelling and repairing functions. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, offers high UV and temperature resistance, and remains serviceable outdoors for up to 104 weeks. Key physical properties include a length of 33 m, width of 19 mm, elongation at break of 250%, tensile strength of 30 N/mm² and a maximum temperature resistance of 105 °C.

Advantages

The acrylate-based adhesive provides strong adhesion with high resistance to UV exposure, acids and solvents. The soft PVC backing ensures good conformability around cables and irregular surfaces while maintaining electrical insulation. The tape’s combination of flexibility, temperature resistance and durability makes it suitable for long-term outdoor use up to 104 weeks.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical connections
• Colour-coding and labelling cables
• Temporary repairs of hoses, wires and surfaces
• Indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks requiring UV-resistant tape

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from oils or dust. Cut or tear the required length of tesaflex® 4163 and apply it with moderate tension, overlapping each turn by at least half the tape width for secure insulation. Press the tape firmly to ensure full contact of the acrylate adhesive with the substrate. For labelling, wrap the tape neatly around the cable or component and, if needed, mark with a permanent pen.

Recommendations

Do not use for permanent insulation of high-voltage systems where certified insulating materials are required. For maximum outdoor life, avoid continuous exposure to aggressive chemicals and check the tape periodically for wear if used in harsh environments.
