Nastro TESA 4651 38 mm x 50 m

TESA 4651 38 mm x 50 m is a grey general-purpose cloth-backed adhesive tape designed for a wide range of repair, sealing and bundling tasks. With a 38 mm width and a 50 m roll length, this tape combines a resilient backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide reliable bonding on many common substrates. The tape is suitable for indoor and outdoor use where a robust, tear-resistant tape is required.

Advantages

The cloth-backed construction gives the tape good tensile strength and tear resistance while remaining conformable to irregular surfaces. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures immediate tack and secure adhesion to materials such as cardboard, wood, metal and many plastics. The grey color offers a neutral appearance for discreet repairs and temporary fixtures. The roll format provides a long usable length for multiple jobs without frequent replacement.

Suitable for

• Temporary repairs of surfaces and protective coverings
• Bundling and securing cables, pipes or materials
• Sealing joints, seams and protective wraps
• Masking or holding during painting and renovation works

Key specifications

• Color: grey
• Width: 38 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Backing: cloth (fabric) for tear resistance
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for instant tack
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oils or loose particles for optimal adhesion. Cut or tear the required length from the roll and apply the adhesive side firmly onto the substrate, pressing along the tape to remove air pockets and improve contact. For rounded or irregular surfaces, conform the tape gradually, smoothing as you go. To end a run, press the final section firmly to secure the edge.

Recommendations

For best performance, store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If used outdoors for extended periods, check adhesion periodically and replace the tape if exposure to UV, moisture or temperature swings reduces bond strength. Avoid application on wet or heavily contaminated surfaces.
