Gründer CJA70 Telemetro laser 70m

The Gründer CJA70 stands out in the crowded field of laser distance meters by combining a generous 70-metre range with IP54 protection, making it suitable for both indoor precision work and dusty outdoor sites. While many compact meters stop at 40 or 50 metres, the CJA70 extends your reach without forcing you into a bulky, professional-grade unit. Its backlit display and intuitive keypad mean you spend less time fumbling and more time measuring.

Highlights

• Measures distances from 0.05 m up to 70 m with ±1.5 mm accuracy
• IP54 dust and splash protection for reliable use on construction sites
• Multiple measurement modes: single, continuous, area, volume, and Pythagorean (2-point and 3-point)
• Stores up to 20 measurement records for later reference
• Backlit LCD display ensures readability in low-light conditions
• Long battery life—up to 5000 measurements on two AAA batteries

In daily use

The CJA70 feels responsive and straightforward. The laser dot is bright and visible even in daylight, and the automatic shut-off (30 seconds for laser, 180 seconds for the device) helps conserve battery. Switching between front and rear reference points is a one-button operation, essential for measuring from edges or corners. The addition and subtraction functions allow you to chain measurements without a calculator, while the Pythagorean modes handle indirect height or width calculations with ease. Whether you are a contractor estimating materials, an estate agent preparing floor plans, or a DIY enthusiast planning a renovation, this meter covers the essential tasks without overcomplicating the workflow.
