Ombrello Elinchrom 26359 piatto bianco/traslucido 105 cm - accessorio per illuminazione fotografica

Shallow white/translucent umbrella Elinchrom 26359, 105 cm diameter, is a photographic lighting accessory designed to soften and diffuse light with an even, natural appearance. The shallow profile pairs a white reflective outer surface with a translucent inner layer to reduce contrast and produce smooth, wraparound illumination. Its 105 cm span provides broad coverage suitable for portraits, product shots and general studio work, while the design allows quick mounting on standard light stands and compatibility with many studio flashes and continuous lights.

Advantages

The combination of a white outer surface and a translucent inner layer delivers balanced light quality with controlled diffusion and reduced hotspots. The shallow shape concentrates light spread for improved subject separation and efficient use of output from a flash or continuous source. Lightweight construction and a simple mounting system enable fast setup and repositioning in studio or on-location environments. The 105 cm diameter offers a practical balance between softening effect and controllable beam spread.

Suitable for

• Portrait photography where soft, even skin tones are required
• Product and e-commerce photography for reduced reflections and even illumination
• Small to medium studio setups and tabletop shoots
• On-location sessions that need quick, portable light diffusion

Key specifications

• Diameter: 105 cm
• Type: shallow umbrella with translucent inner layer and white outer surface
• Light quality: soft, diffused, reduced contrast
• Shape: shallow profile for controlled spread and subject separation
• Mounting: standard umbrella shaft compatible with common light stands and studio heads
• Weight: lightweight for easy transport and rapid setup

How to use

Attach the umbrella shaft into the umbrella holder of your light stand or studio head, ensuring the locking mechanism is secure. Position the white/translucent side oriented according to desired effect: use the translucent side facing the subject for softer, wraparound diffusion or use the reflective side outwards if reflecting the flash into the umbrella is preferred. Adjust distance and angle between light source, umbrella and subject to control softness and shadow definition. Test exposures and fine-tune flash power or continuous light intensity to achieve even illumination without hotspots.

Recommendations

For portrait work, place the umbrella relatively close to the subject to maximize softness while maintaining some directional modelling. For product shots, raise the umbrella to reduce foreground shadows and combine with fill light or reflectors for balanced results. Avoid direct physical contact with hot modeling lamps and store the umbrella dry to preserve fabric and diffusion properties.
