OPTEX QXI-DT-X5 rilevatore esterno con PIR e microonde, immune agli animali, con antimascheramento

Outdoor intruder detection is often plagued by false alarms from pets, foliage, and harsh weather, leaving properties vulnerable or causing nuisance alerts. The OPTEX QXI-DT-X5 solves this by combining passive infrared and microwave technologies with advanced logic, delivering reliable perimeter security for residential and commercial sites.

Who is it for

Security installers and property owners who need dependable outdoor motion detection with pet immunity up to 20 kg and robust anti-masking protection. Ideal for gardens, driveways, building perimeters, and industrial yards where false alarms are unacceptable.

Main features

• Dual technology: PIR + 24.15 GHz microwave with SMDA logic for high detection accuracy and false alarm rejection
• Wide 90° detection angle with 12 m × 12 m coverage, suitable for wall mounting at 0.8–1.2 m height
• Pet immunity up to 20 kg (44 lb), allowing animals to roam without triggering alarms
• Active infrared digital anti-masking detects attempts to cover or spray the lens, ensuring continuous protection
• Selectable alarm output (NC/NO) plus separate tamper and trouble outputs for comprehensive system integration
• IP55 weatherproof housing for reliable operation from -30°C to +60°C
• Adjustable PIR sensitivity (High/Mid/Low) and microwave sensitivity (5 levels) to fine-tune detection
• 94 PIR detection zones in 4 layers for precise coverage and reduced blind spots

Tips

For optimal performance, mount the detector at the recommended height and avoid aiming it at reflective surfaces or heat sources that could affect microwave or PIR sensing. Use the trouble output to monitor anti-masking events and ensure the detector remains unobstructed. Adjust sensitivity settings based on the environment to balance detection reliability and false alarm immunity.
