Parte del sistema di raffreddamento Alphacool 17468 nero 1/4" filettatura esterna liquido

The Alphacool 17468 Black 1/4" Male Liquid cooling system part is a compact connector designed for liquid cooling loops in desktop computer systems. Finished in black, this 1/4" male fitting provides a secure interface between tubing and components while adding minimal weight to the build. At approximately 5 g, it is intended for straightforward integration into custom cooling circuits where reliable leak-free connections and a low-profile appearance are required.

Advantages

This Alphacool fitting offers a standardized 1/4" male connection that ensures compatibility with common soft and hard tubing adapters and many compression fittings. The black finish reduces visible reflections and helps maintain a uniform aesthetic inside a PC case. Its lightweight construction simplifies routing and mounting without adding mechanical stress to nearby components, and the precision-machined threads promote consistent sealing and easy hand-tightening during installation.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Connections between radiators, pumps, reservoirs, and water blocks
• Upgrades or repairs of existing cooling systems
• Builds requiring a low-weight, low-profile male fitting

Key specifications

• Connection type: 1/4" male thread
• Finish: black
• Weight: ≈5 g
• Material: metal construction (durable, corrosion-resistant finish)
• Designed use: liquid cooling interfaces for desktop computers

How to use

Install the fitting by hand-threading it into the corresponding 1/4" female port or compatible compression adapter in your cooling loop. Ensure threads are aligned to avoid cross-threading, and tighten until hand-tight plus a small additional turn if required by the mating component. Use appropriate sealing methods or gaskets if the system design specifies them. Verify the assembly for alignment with tubing and adjacent components before filling the loop with coolant, then perform a leak test according to standard PC liquid-cooling procedures.

Recommendations

Before powering the system, perform a thorough leak test with only the pump running and the rest of the system powered off. Periodically inspect fittings for signs of loosening or corrosion, and replace any component that shows wear. When combining different metals in a loop, consider compatible coolant formulations to minimize galvanic corrosion and maintain long-term reliability.
