Patch cord in fibra ottica EQUIP LC–LC OM5 10 m, nucleo 50 µm, full duplex

The equip® Fiber Optic Adapter Cable is an OM5 multimode LC–LC patch cable designed for full‑duplex transmission. With a 50 µm core and 10 m length, this lime‑green LSZH cable provides low insertion loss and stable endface geometry for short‑reach high‑speed links in data centres, enterprise networks and AV installations. The cable features ceramic ferrules and a 2 mm diameter jacket compliant with low smoke zero halogen standards.

Advantages

This LC–LC OM5 patch cable offers reliable low‑loss connections and compatibility with LC ports for simplified patching. Its OM5 50/125 µm multimode construction supports high aggregate bandwidths for short‑reach 100 Gbit/s links while the LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in confined spaces. The cable’s lime green jacket makes identification in patch panels straightforward.

Suitable for

• Data centre short‑reach interconnects
• Enterprise network fibre patching
• AV installations and signal distribution
• High‑speed multimode links up to 100 Gbit/s

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC–LC (duplex)
• Fiber type: OM5 multimode (50/125 µm)
• Length: 10 m
• Cable diameter: 2 mm
• Ferrule material: ceramic
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)

How to use

Inspect connectors and ensure they are clean before insertion. Align the LC connectors with the device LC ports and insert until secure; repeat for the second connector to establish full‑duplex transmission. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tensile stress to maintain optical performance. For best results, use with compatible OM5 ports and fibre patch panels.

Recommendations

Store and handle the equip® OM5 LC–LC patch cable in a clean environment, clean endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools when required, and follow manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and connector mating cycles to ensure long service life.
