Patriot Viper Gaming RGB XTREME 5 DDR5-8000 RAM, CL 38, Intel XMP 3.0 - kit dual 32GB, argento

The Patriot Memory Viper Xtreme 5 RGB memory module provides 32 GB of DDR5 ECC memory in a 2 x 16 GB configuration suitable for high-performance desktops and entry-level servers using 288-pin DIMM slots. The module uses DDR5 technology with On-Die ECC to enhance data integrity and operates across several supported memory voltages. Its silver heatspreaders combine a functional thermal surface with a neutral metallic finish that integrates with many system builds.

Advantages

ECC support improves reliability by correcting single-bit errors and detecting multi-bit errors, which helps maintain system stability during long workloads. The DDR5 platform delivers higher density and bandwidth than previous generations while allowing lower operating currents at comparable speeds. The 288-pin DIMM form factor and wide voltage compatibility make this memory suitable for a range of motherboards that support DDR5 ECC modules.

Suitable for

• Workstation tasks requiring data integrity, such as scientific computing and database access
• Server-side or small-business systems where error correction is beneficial
• High-performance desktop builds that require 32 GB of DDR5 ECC memory
• Systems where a silver aesthetic and discreet RGB-capable memory are preferred

How to use

Install the two 16 GB modules into matching DIMM slots on a compatible motherboard that supports DDR5 ECC memory, following the motherboard manufacturer’s slot population guidelines to enable dual-channel operation. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before installation, and observe anti-static precautions. After physical installation, verify that ECC is enabled in system firmware/BIOS if required, and, if applicable, load any vendor-provided XMP/overclocking profile or configure memory timings and voltage manually to match the intended operating point.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use these modules in motherboards and platforms that explicitly support DDR5 ECC DIMMs. When changing memory voltage or enabling advanced overclocking profiles, monitor system stability and temperatures. Keep firmware and chipset drivers up to date to maintain compatibility and to take advantage of any stability or performance improvements.
