PC desktop Dell Pro QCS1250 slim — Intel Core i3-14100, 8 GB DDR5, 512 GB SSD, grafica integrata Intel, Ubuntu

The Dell Pro QCS1250 Slim is a compact desktop PC designed for general office, home and point-of-sale environments. It is powered by an Intel Core i3-14100 quad-core processor, paired with 8 GB of DDR5 memory (1x8 GB, 4800 MHz) and a 512 GB solid-state drive, and uses Intel integrated graphics. The system ships with Ubuntu preinstalled and includes ProSupport NBD Onsite warranty for 36 months. The slim black chassis and small footprint make it suitable for constrained workspaces where a reliable, factory-configured desktop is required.

Advantages

The slim form factor reduces desk clutter and allows flexible placement while retaining standard desktop performance for everyday tasks. DDR5 memory and an SSD provide faster responsiveness compared with older configurations that use HDD or DDR4, and the modern Intel Core i3-14100 delivers multi-threaded performance for typical office workloads. Preinstalled Ubuntu ensures a ready-to-use Linux environment for users and organisations that prefer open-source software. The included 36-month ProSupport NBD Onsite warranty provides business-grade service and next-business-day onsite support.

Use the preinstalled operating system to configure user accounts, network settings and software repositories. Install additional applications from Ubuntu repositories or third-party sources as needed for office, retail or home tasks. For point-of-sale setups, connect peripheral devices such as receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers using available USB or network interfaces and configure them within the operating system.

Recommendations

Place the system on a stable, ventilated surface and avoid obstructing air vents. For best performance, allow Ubuntu and installed packages to receive regular updates, and use the SSD for the operating system and active data to benefit from faster boot and application load times. For business environments, register and verify ProSupport entitlement to ensure next-business-day onsite support when required.
