Pedale effetto per chitarra WARM AUDIO Centavo Overdrive WA-CV — circuito analogico, true bypass

The WARM AUDIO Centavo Overdrive WA-CV is an analog overdrive pedal engineered to deliver classic tube-like harmonic saturation and responsive gain control for electric guitar. Featuring a true-bypass switching design, this pedal preserves signal integrity when disengaged and integrates into studio or live pedalboards without adding noise or tone coloration. The control layout lets players shape the amount of overdrive, adjust output level, and tailor midrange presence to push amplifier front-ends or sit comfortably in a mix.

Advantages

The Centavo Overdrive uses an analog circuit that produces natural-sounding saturation and dynamic responsiveness to picking attack. True bypass switching ensures the original guitar tone remains unaltered when the effect is off. Controls provide precise adjustment of gain, tone, and output volume so the pedal can function as a mild boost, tube-style breakup, or a driven overdrive, depending on settings. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for tight pedalboard setups while maintaining a robust build for regular use in rehearsals and gigs.

Suitable for

• Studio tracking where transparent bypass and analog warmth are required
• Live performance pedalboards that need reliable true-bypass switching
• Guitarists seeking tube-like overdrive to push amp front-ends
• Players wanting a compact overdrive for blues, rock, or modern tones

Key specifications

• Effect type: Analog overdrive
• Bypass: True bypass switching
• Controls: Gain, Tone (or mid/character control), Level/output
• Signal path: All-analog circuitry for harmonic saturation and dynamic response
• Form factor: Compact pedal enclosure suitable for standard pedalboards
• Power: Standard 9V DC power input (center-negative typical for guitar pedals)

How to use

Connect the Centavo Overdrive between your guitar and amplifier or within your effects chain. Start with all controls at noon, then increase the Gain control to add warmth and breakup; use the Level control to match output volume to bypassed signal. Adjust the Tone or mid control to emphasize or reduce midrange presence until the desired character is achieved. Engage true bypass when the effect is not needed to maintain the clean signal path. Use lower gain settings for subtle coloration and higher settings for driven rhythm or lead textures.

Recommendations

For optimal tonal results, place the Centavo early in the signal chain before modulation and time-based effects. Pair it with a tube amplifier set at moderate clean volume to exploit the pedal’s ability to push amp saturation. Use a regulated 9V DC power supply with correct polarity to avoid noise and protect the circuitry.
