Pellicola protettiva adesiva TESA 04368-00009-02

The TESA 04368-00009-02 adhesive cover film is a beige polyethylene terephthalate (PET) protective sheet designed to shield surfaces during painting, renovation and general maintenance tasks. Supplied in a continuous width of 1400 mm and a long roll length, it delivers broad coverage for walls, floors, furniture and large equipment. The film combines a smooth finish with tear resistance and an adhesive edge that facilitates secure placement and clean removal without leaving residues when used according to instructions.

Advantages

This adhesive cover film is durable and resistant to punctures and abrasions while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. The PET material provides dimensional stability and a smooth surface that prevents paint bleed-through. An adhesive strip along the edge ensures quick fixation to most smooth substrates and reduces the need for additional tape. The beige color offers good opacity for hiding underlying surfaces and improves visual contrast during application.

Suitable for

• Protecting walls and ceilings during painting and plastering
• Covering floors and staircases in renovation projects
• Shielding furniture, cabinets and appliances during maintenance
• Temporary protection of vehicles, equipment and large installations
• Use in construction sites, workshops and professional decorating jobs

Key specifications

• Material: polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
• Color: beige
• Width: 1,400 mm
• Roll length: 33,000 mm
• Finish: smooth surface
• Edge: adhesive strip for fixation
• Properties: tear-resistant, lightweight, opaque

How to use

Measure the area to be protected and cut the required length from the roll. Peel back the protective liner from the adhesive edge and apply the adhesive strip to a clean, dry substrate to anchor the film. Unroll and smooth the film across the surface, avoiding folds and trapped air. For irregular shapes or corners, trim the film with a utility knife and secure edges as needed. After work is completed, peel the film away slowly at a low angle to minimize stress on the underlying surface.

Recommendations

Apply to dust-free, dry and grease-free surfaces for best adhesion. Avoid long-term outdoor exposure and high-temperature environments that may affect adhesive performance. Test a small hidden area before use if surface sensitivity is a concern. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve material and adhesive properties.
