Penna fineliner Stabilo dr!ver Medium (0,8 mm) - inchiostro blu, fusto nero

The Stabilo dr!ver fineliner Medium (0.8 mm) in blue ink with a black barrel is a single-piece writing instrument designed for clear handwriting, sketching and everyday use. It features a medium 0.8 mm tip that produces consistent lines and a water-based, low-odor ink formulated to resist smearing during normal handling. The pen’s balanced body and tactile grip area support extended writing sessions and simple note-taking tasks.

Advantages

This Stabilo fineliner delivers even, medium-width lines suitable for writing and drawing. The water-based ink is designed to be smear-resistant and has a low odor, which makes it comfortable for use in classrooms and offices. The black barrel provides a professional look while the blue ink ensures good contrast on standard paper. The pen is sold as a single unit, allowing easy replacement or use as an everyday carry writing tool.

Suitable for

• Note-taking and annotation in meetings or classes
• Sketching, outlining and detailed drawings
• Everyday handwriting tasks such as lists and forms
• Use in low-odor environments where comfort during long sessions is desired

When it may not be suitable

The Stabilo dr!ver fineliner uses water-based ink that, while smear-resistant, is not guaranteed to be waterproof on all paper types. It may not be the best choice for archival documents or permanent labeling where waterfastness is required. The medium 0.8 mm tip provides a clear line but may be too wide for extremely fine technical drawing or micro-detail work.

Key specifications

• Tip size: 0.8 mm (medium)
• Ink colour: Blue
• Barrel colour: Black
• Ink type: Water-based, low-odor, smear-resistant formulation
• Sold as: Single piece

How to use

Hold the Stabilo dr!ver fineliner at a comfortable angle and apply gentle, even pressure for consistent 0.8 mm lines. Use on standard paper for best results; allow a moment for the ink to dry to minimize smearing. Replace the cap after use to prevent the tip from drying out and store horizontally or upright with the cap on to preserve ink flow.

What to consider before purchase

• Whether a medium 0.8 mm tip meets your required line thickness
• Need for waterfast or permanent ink for archival or outdoor use
• Preference for barrel colour and overall pen weight for long writing sessions

Recommendations

For everyday writing and general sketching, use the Stabilo dr!ver fineliner on standard office or sketch paper and allow a second for drying to reduce smears. Store capped when not in use and replace with a fresh pen when ink flow diminishes to maintain consistent line quality.
