Pennarello Edding 5000 punta a scalpello rosa 1 pz.

Acrylic marker for painting on light or dark surfaces, suitable for materials such as canvas and paper. The Edding 5000 with a chisel tip delivers a stroke width of 5–10 mm. The high-quality pigmented water-based acrylic paint is opaque, lightfast and odourless; once dry the paint is permanent. The neon pink shade is semi-transparent. Spare chisel nibs compatible with this marker (edding 5000 spare nibs) are available.

Advantages

The chisel tip enables broad and fine strokes in one marker, offering versatility for lettering, outlining and filling. Water-based acrylic pigment provides good coverage on both light and dark backgrounds while remaining lightfast and permanent after drying. The marker is odourless, making it suitable for indoor use, and spare nibs are available to extend the tool's service life.

How to use

Shake the marker well before use to mix the pigment. Press the chisel tip gently onto the surface to start the ink flow. Use the broad edge of the chisel for wide strokes and the narrow edge for finer lines. Allow applied acrylic paint to dry fully to achieve permanent, lightfast results. Replace the nib with a compatible edding 5000 spare nib when the tip shows wear.

Recommendations

Test the marker on a scrap piece of the same material first to check opacity and drying behaviour. For best results on porous surfaces like raw canvas or uncoated paper, consider priming or stabilising the surface if you need maximum opacity and smoother lines.
