Philips AVENT video babyphone SCD881/26 Advanced

The Philips AVENT SCD881/26 Advanced video baby monitor provides a private, secure connection so caregivers can hear and see their baby day and night. It features a 2.8" (7.2 cm) LCD screen, infrared night vision and a wireless link that uses FHSS technology on the 2.4 GHz band for clear audio and video up to 300 m outdoors. The unit is finished in pink and includes two-way talkback for remote reassurance.

Advantages

The monitor uses FHSS wireless technology to keep the connection private and reduce interference while delivering clear sound and a stable video feed. A 2.8" colour LCD gives a compact, easy-to-read image and IR LEDs provide visibility in darkness. The device supports two-way communication so you can speak to the child from the parent unit, and the outdoor range of up to 300 m allows flexible placement of the camera unit.

How to use

Place the camera unit in the baby’s room at a safe distance and height with a clear view of the sleeping area. Connect both camera and parent units to power and pair them according to the quick-start instructions. Use the parent unit’s screen to monitor the live feed; activate night mode automatically when lighting is low. Press the talkback button to speak to your baby through the camera unit.

Recommendations

Position the camera so it captures the full crib or cot without placing it inside reach of the child. Keep the parent unit charged and avoid obstructions for best signal strength; if you need monitoring beyond the specified range, consider relocating the camera or moving closer to the parent unit.
