Piatto fondo Ritzenhoff & Breker 4every day rotondo vetro nero

This round soup plate from ritzenhoff & breker combines minimalist design with practical dimensions. Made of high-quality glass, the plate measures 30 cm in diameter and 4 cm in height, providing a broad, shallow surface suitable for serving soups, stews and broths. The black finish gives a contemporary look that integrates easily into modern and classic table settings while remaining suitable for everyday use.

Advantages

The glass construction offers a smooth, non-porous surface that resists staining and absorbs no flavours, ensuring hygienic service and easy cleaning. Its 30 cm diameter provides ample room for garnishes and side accompaniments without crowding the bowl. The shallow 4 cm depth is designed to present soups and stews attractively while helping portions cool to an edible temperature more quickly. The black colour adds visual contrast to plated food and is durable enough for frequent handling in a domestic environment.

Suitable for

• Serving hot soups, broths and chowders
• Presenting stews and thick sauces
• Everyday dining and casual dinner settings
• Restaurants or catering where a modern look is required

Key specifications

• Shape: round
• Diameter: 30 cm
• Height/depth: 4 cm
• Colour: black
• Finish: smooth, non-porous surface

How to use

Place the soup plate on a flat, heat-resistant surface and ladle soup, stew or other hot preparations into the centre, leaving room for garnishes if required. The shallow profile is suitable for both thin broths and thicker soups; adjust portion size accordingly to avoid spillage. After use, rinse off food residue and wash according to the care instructions for glass tableware. Allow the plate to cool before applying sudden temperature changes.

Recommendations

To preserve appearance and longevity, avoid exposing the glass to abrupt thermal shocks (for example, moving directly from freezer to boiling water) and use non-abrasive cleaners or soft sponges when washing. The plate is intended for regular household use; check compatibility with your dishwasher programme if machine washing is preferred.
