Piatto fondo ritzenhoff & breker Cecina 210 mm, gres color grafite, lavabile in lavastoviglie

The Cecina soup plate by ritzenhoff & breker is a 210 mm diameter bowl-shaped plate in a graphite-coloured stoneware finish, designed for serving soups, stews and pasta. Its heavy-duty stoneware construction offers good heat retention and increased resistance to chipping, making it suitable for daily home use and for environments with frequent handling. The surface finish provides a neutral, textured look that pairs with a variety of table settings and cutlery.

Advantages

The stoneware material ensures stable thermal properties for keeping soups warm longer and withstands regular use without significant wear. The graphite colour conceals minor stains and contributes to a consistent table presentation. The product is microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, which simplifies reheating and cleaning while reducing breakage risk compared with more delicate materials.

Suitable for

• Serving hot soups, broths and consommés
• Presenting stews, pasta dishes and risottos
• Everyday family dining and casual entertaining
• Use in small-scale professional settings such as cafés or bistros

Key specifications

• Diameter: 210 mm
• Material: stoneware with graphite-coloured glaze
• Shape: soup plate / shallow bowl profile
• Thermal properties: good heat retention characteristic of stoneware
• Care: suitable for microwave reheating and dishwasher cleaning
• Durability: heavy-duty construction with resistance to chipping

How to use

Place the Cecina soup plate on a heat-resistant surface before filling with hot liquids. For reheating, use the microwave setting appropriate for the contents and avoid rapid temperature changes to reduce thermal stress. After use, remove food residues and place the plate in the dishwasher or wash by hand with warm water and mild detergent. Allow to cool before stacking to prevent trapping residual heat between items.

Recommendations

Avoid exposing the plate to direct flame or extreme temperature shock such as transferring from freezer to microwave without intermediate tempering. Use non-abrasive cleaning tools to preserve the glaze and check stacking heights in commercial dishwashers to prevent impact damage.
