How to use

Before installation, turn off power to the relevant circuit at the consumer unit and verify that the switch or socket is de-energized. Remove the existing cover plate by unscrewing the fixing screws and pull the plate away from the wall-mounted module. Align the JUNG ES 2981 cover plate over the installed switch or socket module, ensuring that openings match the module layout, then secure the plate with the original or supplied screws until flush with the wall. Restore power and verify correct operation of the switch or socket.

Recommendations

Clean the stainless steel surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads or aggressive chemical cleaners that can damage the finish. For best results, wipe along the grain if a brushed texture is present and dry with a lint-free cloth. Periodically check that fixing screws remain secure to maintain a flush fit and prevent vibration loosening in high-traffic areas.
