Pompa di prova a pressione Rothenberger RP PRO III 40 bar autoaspirante 6 l/min R 1/2 pollice

Rothenberger RP PRO III 40 bar self-priming 6 l/min R 1/2" is a pressure test pump intended for pressure testing and leak detection in plumbing, heating and industrial piping systems. The pump produces a maximum working pressure of 40 bar, operates with a self-priming mechanism and provides a flow rate up to 6 l/min. The R 1/2" connection matches common fittings and allows straightforward integration with standard test adapters and hoses used by installers and service technicians.

Advantages

The design combines a robust pump body with a self-priming function that eliminates the need for manual priming before each test. The unit supports high-pressure testing up to 40 bar while maintaining a controlled flow of up to 6 l/min, which is suitable for filling circuits and verifying system tightness. The standard R 1/2" connection simplifies attachment to existing test equipment and reduces setup time. Materials and construction are chosen for regular on-site use and routine service operations.

Suitable for

• Pressure and leak testing of water, heating and chilled water systems
• Commissioning and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing installations
• Service checks by heating engineers and HVAC technicians
• On-site verification of pipework after repairs or system modifications

Key specifications

• Maximum working pressure: 40 bar
• Flow rate: up to 6 litres per minute
• Operation: self-priming pump
• Connection size: R 1/2" compatible with standard fittings
• Typical applications: pressure testing and leak detection in piping and heating systems

How to use

Connect the pump to the system using appropriate test hoses and adapters that match the R 1/2" connection. Ensure all valves and outlets in the test section are closed, then open the pump inlet to fill and expel air from the circuit. Operate the pump to reach the required test pressure—monitor pressure with a suitable gauge—and observe the system for pressure loss or visible leaks. After the test, relieve pressure following safety procedures and disconnect the pump when the system is stable.

Recommendations

Prior to each use, verify compatibility of hoses and adapters, check for visible damage, and ensure the test area is secure. Use the pump within the specified pressure and flow limits and follow local safety standards for pressure testing. When testing systems containing additives or fluids other than water, consult material compatibility guidelines.
