Pompa per acqua Kärcher BP 4 Deep Well

The Kärcher BP 4 Deep Well immersion pressure pump is designed to extract groundwater from private deep wells for garden irrigation and, when fitted with a pressure switch, for supplying treated water inside the home. The pump features a stainless steel housing and threaded connections for robust, long-lasting operation. An integrated pre-filter and a standing leg protect the water inlet from contamination during installation and use. A 15 m rope is supplied for safe lowering into the well shaft, and an on/off switch at the end of the cable enables convenient operation. The delivery set allows connection of both 3/4" and 1" hoses, and an integrated check valve prevents backflow.

Advantages

The BP 4 Deep Well provides a 700 W motor that supports a maximum pressure of 4.3 bar and a flow rate up to 4600 l/h, enabling delivery heights up to 43 m while remaining relatively lightweight at 10.1 kg. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel components and threaded connections increase durability. Built-in pre-filtering and a standing leg reduce the risk of inlet contamination, and the included 15 m rope and end-of-cable on/off switch simplify handling and safe operation. The hose connection set fits both common hose sizes without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Garden watering from a private deep well
• Connection to a pressure switch for domestic treated water supply
• Supplementing non-potable water use to save drinking water
• Short-term pumping tasks requiring delivery heights up to 43 m

How to use

Lower the BP 4 Deep Well into the well shaft using the supplied 15 m rope and secure the rope to an appropriate anchor point. Connect a suitable hose using the included connection set (3/4" or 1"). If the pump is to supply internal treated water, install a compatible pressure switch according to local regulations and the pressure switch manufacturer’s instructions. Use the on/off switch at the end of the cable to start and stop the pump. Observe correct immersion depth limits and ensure the pump inlet and pre-filter remain free of large debris during installation.

Recommendations

Use groundwater from private wells only where local regulations permit non-potable water use for irrigation or treated water supply. Regularly inspect and clean the pre-filter and check valve, and winterize the pump if temperatures drop below freezing to prevent damage. For installation that supplies household water, follow applicable plumbing codes and fit a pressure switch and safety devices as required.
