Portapunte con impugnatura albero flessibile 1/4 di pollice Wiha 01479

The Wiha Bit Holder with Handle (flexible shaft) is a 268 mm tool designed for use with 1/4" bits. It combines a plastic-coated flexible metal blade with a Wiha SoftFinish® multi-component handle that includes roll-off protection and an integrated retaining ring in the bit holder. The tool is intended for working with offset screws and accepts bits that conform to DIN 3126 / ISO 1173 style C 6.3.

Advantages

The plastic-coated flexible metal blade allows access in confined or awkward spaces while protecting surrounding surfaces. The SoftFinish® multi-component handle provides a comfortable, non-slip grip and roll-off protection for safer handling. The retaining ring in the bit holder secures 1/4" bits during use, reducing the risk of accidental release.

Suitable for

• Driving and removing offset screws in tight or recessed areas
• Work with 1/4" bits (DIN 3126 / ISO 1173 C 6.3)
• Repair, assembly, and maintenance tasks requiring flexible reach

Key specifications

• Length: 268 mm
• Bit size: 1/4" (6.3 mm) compatible with DIN 3126 / ISO 1173 style C
• Blade: plastic-coated flexible metal
• Handle: Wiha SoftFinish® multi-component with roll-off protection
• Bit holder: with retaining ring
• Handle colour: Black, Red
• Number of screwdrivers: 1

How to use

Select a compatible 1/4" bit and insert it into the bit holder until the retaining ring engages. Position the flexible shaft to reach the screw, orienting the plastic-coated blade to avoid contact with nearby surfaces. Apply steady torque using the SoftFinish® handle; the roll-off protection reduces the chance of the tool rolling away when placed on a flat surface. To remove the bit, pull it straight out past the retaining ring.

Recommendations

Use the tool with bits conforming to DIN 3126 / ISO 1173 C 6.3. Avoid excessive torque beyond the bit or fastener rating and do not use the flexible shaft as a lever. Keep the plastic coating intact to protect surfaces and periodically check the retaining ring for wear.
