Powerblock Brennenstuhl 4 vie 16A IP54 modello 9837570010

The Brennenstuhl power block 4-way 16A IP54 model 9837570010 is a compact power distribution unit designed for indoor and protected outdoor environments. It provides four grounded outlets in a single housing with IP54-rated protection against splashes and dust, enabling safe connection of multiple electrical devices such as power tools, workshop equipment and household appliances. The unit is intended for temporary and stationary use where a simple, robust solution for distributing up to 16 amperes is required.

Advantages

This power block combines four outlets in a single, impact-resistant enclosure with IP54 ingress protection, reducing the need for multiple extension cords. The grounded socket configuration supports safe operation of earthed devices. The device construction is suitable for environments where occasional splashing or dust exposure can occur, and the compact design facilitates mounting or placement in confined workspaces. The rated 16A capacity accommodates typical workshop and domestic loads without complex installation.

Suitable for

• Workshops and garages for powering drills, sanders and bench tools
• Protected outdoor areas and construction sites under cover
• Temporary home projects and DIY tasks requiring multiple outlets
• Portable setups where splash and dust resistance is desirable

Key specifications

• Number of outlets: 4 grounded sockets
• Rated current: 16 A
• Ingress protection: IP54 (protection against dust and splashes)
• Suitable for indoor and protected outdoor use
• Housing: impact-resistant enclosure

How to use

Connect the power block to a compatible mains supply using the appropriate cable and plug for your region, ensuring the supply is rated to handle the combined load of connected devices. Plug in appliances one at a time and check that total current draw does not exceed 16 A. Mount or place the unit on a stable surface or secure it using appropriate fixings if the housing provides mounting points. Keep the unit oriented and positioned so that water does not pool on or enter the sockets; although IP54 offers splash protection, it is not suitable for direct spraying or immersion.

Recommendations

To maintain safety and longevity, avoid continuous operation at the maximum rated current, inspect the housing and sockets regularly for damage or debris, and use the device only in conditions consistent with IP54 protection. For fixed installations or high-current applications consult a qualified electrician.
