Presa a parete ACT FA6000 — presa di connessione CAT6 non schermata a 8 porte

ACT FA6000 is a surface mounted box designed to accommodate eight unshielded CAT6 keystone jacks for UTP Ethernet connections. The compact rectangular enclosure provides a practical mounting point for network terminations on walls or other flat surfaces where recessed installation is not possible. Intended for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and residential networks, the FA6000 supports standardized CAT6 connectivity while keeping individual ports accessible for patching and maintenance.

Advantages

The ACT FA6000 offers a space-efficient solution for deploying up to eight CAT6 ports without the need to open walls or run in-wall back boxes. Its surface-mounted design simplifies installation and reduces labor time, while the unshielded configuration is compatible with common UTP CAT6 keystone jacks and patch cables. The box provides organized cable entry and a stable platform for reliable terminations, improving neatness and serviceability of local network points.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Adding multiple Ethernet outlets in offices or meeting rooms where in-wall installation is impractical
• Temporary or permanent network points in server rooms and network closets
• Residential installations requiring a compact surface-mounted patching solution
• Environments using unshielded CAT6 structured cabling and standard keystone jacks

When it may not be suitable

The FA6000 is intended for unshielded (UTP) CAT6 terminations; it is not suitable where shielded cabling (STP/FTP) is required for electromagnetic protection. If recessed or flush-mounted outlets are required for aesthetic or building-code reasons, this surface-mounted box may not meet those requirements. The enclosure provides mounting for keystone jacks but does not include the jacks, patch panels or patch cords themselves.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: eight unshielded CAT6 keystone jacks (UTP)
• Port count: 8 positions for individual keystone modules
• Mounting type: surface mounted enclosure for wall or flat-surface attachment
• Material: durable non-conductive plastic suitable for indoor network installations
• Application: structured cabling terminations for LAN, Ethernet patching

How to use

Mount the ACT FA6000 on a clean, flat surface using appropriate screws or anchors for the substrate. Install CAT6 keystone jacks into each of the eight module openings, then terminate the UTP cable pairs on the keystone jack according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Route incoming cables through the designated entry points, secure excess cable inside the box to avoid strain on terminations, and attach the box cover. Once jacks are in place you can connect patch cords to provide network access to devices.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure you plan to use unshielded CAT6 (UTP) keystone jacks and cables, not shielded variants
• Check that eight-port surface mounting fits your space and aesthetic preferences versus flush mounting
• Confirm wall material and fasteners required for secure surface installation
• Note that keystone jacks, patch cords and mounting screws are typically sold separately

Recommendations

For reliable performance, follow standard CAT6 termination practices: use the appropriate wiring scheme consistently, maintain proper cable bend radius, separate power and data cabling where possible, and perform cable testing after installation to verify continuity and performance.
