Presa antenna SAT+BK ShiverPeaks 15-93002 10 dB

The ShiverPeaks Antenna Socket SAT+BK 10 dB (model for wall mounting) provides a combined outlet for satellite and broadcast/cable signals in residential AV installations. Designed to consolidate connections for a satellite receiver and a TV tuner into a single wall plate, this socket supports signal distribution while saving space behind entertainment units and in living areas. The unit is intended for fixed installation in standard flush-mount boxes and is compatible with common coaxial cabling used in home installations.

Advantages

The device integrates satellite (SAT) and broadcast/cable (BK) signals into one wall-mounted socket, reducing the number of separate outlets required. Its compact design simplifies cable routing and keeps connections accessible in living rooms, bedrooms, or media cabinets. The socket provides a 10 dB signal level for the satellite output, allowing stable signal transfer to compatible receivers. The terminal clamp connection method enables secure cable fixation during installation without the need for additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Home installations combining satellite receiver and DVB-T/DVB-C tuner
• Living rooms, bedrooms, and media cabinets where outlet consolidation is needed
• New builds and retrofit projects using standard in-wall flush boxes

Key specifications

• Combined SAT and BK (satellite + broadcast/cable) wall socket
• Satellite output level: 10 dB
• Wall-mounted format for standard flush installation
• Clamp-terminal connection type for coaxial cable fixation
• Single combined outlet for connecting satellite receivers and TV tuners

How to use

Install the socket into a standard flush-mount box following local electrical and RF installation regulations. Secure the incoming coaxial cables to the clamp terminals, ensuring proper stripping and contact of the conductor and shield. Connect the satellite feed to the SAT terminal and the broadcast/cable feed to the BK terminal as required by the building distribution. Once fixed and the faceplate is attached, connect your satellite receiver and TV tuner with coaxial patch cables to the outlet.

Recommendations

Use quality coaxial cables with appropriate impedance (75 Ω) and maintain good cable preparation to ensure reliable signal transmission. Verify signal levels with suitable measurement tools after installation to confirm the 10 dB satellite output meets receiver requirements. If the installation involves long cable runs or multiple splits, consider signal amplification or professional assessment to avoid signal loss.
