How to use

Install the outlet in accordance with local electrical and building regulations. Prepare the Ethernet cable by stripping the appropriate length of sheath and arranging the pairs according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Terminate the wires on the outlet’s connector following the manufacturer’s wiring diagram or colour code. Secure the unit to the wall or surface box using suitable screws and ensure the connector is accessible for plugging in standard RJ-45 patch cables. After installation, test continuity and signal integrity with suitable network test equipment to verify correct termination and connectivity.

Recommendations

Use the socket outlet indoors in protected environments consistent with its IP21 rating. For locations exposed to moisture, dust, or outdoor conditions, choose a product with a higher protection rating. Use compatible Cat5e/Cat6 patch cables and proper cable management to maintain signal quality; avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, and proximity to heavy electrical noise sources. Carry out network testing after installation to confirm performance.
