Presa RJ-45 Telegärtner J00023A0204

The Telegärtner J00023A0204 socket outlet RJ-45 is a wall-mounted network connector engineered for Category 6a structured cabling. It provides a compact, white faceplate with a single shielded RJ-45 port designed to maintain signal integrity for high-speed Ethernet links. Built to integrate into standard installation frames and faceplate systems, this outlet supports performance requirements for modern LANs while maintaining a discreet appearance suitable for offices, data rooms and residential environments.

Advantages

This socket outlet supports category 6a transmission parameters to enable up to 10 Gbps over appropriate cabling and reduces crosstalk and signal loss through consistent impedance design. The compact, standardized form factor allows straightforward installation in common wall boxes and mounting frames. Its white finish provides a neutral look that blends with most interiors, and the shielded connection option helps manage electromagnetic interference in demanding environments.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in office or server room installations
• Residential high-speed wired home networks
• Data points for VoIP phones, IP cameras and networked printers
• Structured cabling projects requiring Category 6a compliance

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 female, shielded variant
• Cable category support: Category 6a
• Data rate capability: suitable for up to 10 Gbps over compliant cabling
• Mounting: standard wall box / faceplate compatible form factor
• Color and finish: white faceplate

How to use

Prepare the Category 6a cable by stripping the outer sheath and arranging pairs according to the specified wiring standard. Terminate conductors to the outlet’s termination points following the manufacturer’s wiring color code and secure the cable with any integrated strain relief. Insert the assembled outlet into the installation frame or wall box and fasten per the mounting instructions. After installation, verify link integrity and performance with a network tester to confirm correct pair termination and desired data rates.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gbps performance, use certified Category 6a cabling and maintain proper separation from power cables to minimize interference. Verify shielding continuity when using the shielded connector variant and use appropriate grounding. Perform post-installation testing (wiremap, NEXT, return loss) to ensure the outlet meets the intended cabling class performance.
