Presa tipo F berker 47438989, bianco, corpo in duroplast, 250V 16A, IP20, profondità 32mm

Berker 47438989 is a fixed Type F (Schuko) socket outlet in polar white with a durable duroplast housing. Designed for standard mains connections, the outlet is rated for 250 V and 16 A and provides IP20 protection. Its compact mounting depth of 32 mm makes it suitable for installation in flush wall boxes and typical electrical panels. The glossy finish and neutral colour match common interior fittings while the construction follows standard dimensions for Type F sockets.

Advantages

The duroplast housing offers mechanical stability and resistance to discoloration, while the Type F contact design ensures safe grounding and compatibility with Schuko plugs. IP20 protection shields the internal contacts from solid objects larger than 12 mm and fits indoor installation requirements. The 32 mm mounting depth simplifies fitting into standard flush-mounted boxes and reduces the need for deep wall cavities.

How to use

Install the socket into a compatible flush-mounted wall box following local electrical codes and safety standards. Ensure the power supply is switched off before connecting conductors. Connect live, neutral and earth conductors to the designated terminals, secure the wiring and fasten the unit to the mounting box. After installation, restore power and verify proper grounding and voltage with suitable testing equipment before normal use.

Recommendations

Use this Type F socket outlet for indoor applications only. Avoid exposure to moisture or outdoor conditions since IP20 does not provide protection against water. For installations requiring additional protection or higher ingress resistance, select a product with a higher IP rating. Periodically inspect the outlet for signs of wear or damage and replace if contacts or housing show degradation.
