Presa Merten MEG2300-0325 — CEE 7/3, 250 V, 16 A, bianco, custodia in termoplastica

Merten MEG2300-0325 is a fixed socket outlet with a CEE 7/3 (Schuko) receptacle designed for standard indoor electrical installations. Rated for 250 V and 16 A, the white unit is housed in a thermoplastic enclosure that provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection for everyday residential and light commercial use. The product supplies a common European connection for household appliances, tools and electronic devices while meeting typical safety and compatibility requirements for fixed wall-mounted sockets.

Advantages

The thermoplastic housing offers resistance to impact and basic chemical exposure while keeping the unit lightweight for easier installation. A CEE 7/3 contact configuration ensures compatibility with a wide range of European plugs and provides secure grounding for connected equipment. The 250 V, 16 A rating supports most household devices without the need for additional adapters or converters, and the fixed mounting design reduces the risk of accidental disconnection.

Suitable for

• Residential wall sockets in living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms
• Light commercial spaces such as offices and small workshops
• Powering appliances, lamps, chargers and small power tools
• Standard replacement or new installations where a fixed Schuko outlet is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: CEE 7/3 (Schuko)
• Rated voltage: 250 V AC
• Rated current: 16 A
• Housing material: thermoplastic
• Color: white
• Mounting type: fixed wall-mounted outlet

How to use

Install the socket outlet on a compatible mounting box following local electrical codes and safety standards. Ensure that the supply is switched off at the circuit breaker before connecting live, neutral and protective earth conductors to the corresponding terminals. Tighten terminal screws to the recommended torque and secure the thermoplastic cover. After installation, restore power and test the outlet with a suitable tester to confirm correct wiring and grounding.

Recommendations

Use the outlet indoors only and avoid exposure to moisture or direct water contact. Do not exceed the rated 16 A load; for high-power appliances verify the combined current draw. Periodically inspect the socket for signs of damage or overheating and replace the unit if mechanical cracks or discoloration appear.
