Pressacavo DeLOCK 90° angolare PG13.5 grigio con scarico di trazione

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG13.5 in grey is a plastic cable gland designed to provide a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits. Its angled form factor makes it suitable for installations with limited space, while the PG13.5 thread size fits standard threaded entries. The product incorporates a bend protection spiral that functions as strain relief to protect flexible cables from excessive bending and mechanical stress.

Advantages

The angled design allows installation in confined areas without compromising the sealing function. Integrated strain relief reduces stress on cable conductors and connectors, extending the service life of cable assemblies. The cable gland is rated IP68 for dust and waterproofing, providing increased protection against dirt and moisture. Constructed from durable grey plastic, it is suitable for industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Routing cables and electrical tubes through housings
• Applications with limited installation space
• Automation and robotics systems
• Industrial machinery and equipment

How to use

Drill or prepare the enclosure entry for a PG13.5 threaded fitting, then insert and tighten the cable gland according to the enclosure’s threading and torque requirements. Pass the cable or electrical tube through the gland and position the bend protection spiral so it supports the cable where it exits the housing. Ensure the sealing elements are correctly seated to maintain the IP68 rating. Check that the cable is secured and that there is no excessive tension on the connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, select a cable diameter compatible with PG13.5 specifications and avoid sharp bends closer than the bend protection spiral. Verify compatibility with your enclosure’s thread and confirm the installation maintains the IP68 seal under the expected environmental conditions.
