Pressacavo DeLOCK 90° PG9 grigio con scarico di trazione

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG9 in grey provides a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits while saving space thanks to its angled design. Made of durable plastic, it combines a PG9 threaded connection with integrated strain relief to secure flexible cables and protect them from excessive bending and mechanical stress.

Advantages

The angled shape enables installation in confined areas and reduces required clearance behind the enclosure. A built-in bend protection spiral offers additional strain relief, reducing risk of cable damage near moving parts. The cable gland meets IP68 requirements for dust and water protection, increasing reliability in environments exposed to moisture and dirt. The robust plastic construction is suitable for repeated use and simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Sealing cable entries in control cabinets and junction boxes
• Industrial automation and robotics applications
• Machinery where space is limited behind the enclosure
• Environments requiring dust- and waterproof cable feed-throughs

How to use

Drill or prepare a PG9 thread hole in the housing, then insert and tighten the cable gland according to the enclosure’s mounting method. Pass the cable through the gland and position the bend protection spiral so it supports the cable near the housing entry. Ensure the gland is tightened sufficiently to seal around the cable while avoiding over-compression of the outer cable sheath.

Recommendations

For optimal sealing and strain relief, select cables with an outer diameter compatible with PG9 specifications and check the gland’s seating after installation. Regularly inspect the gland and bend protection for wear in applications with frequent motion or vibration.
