Pressino Xavax 00111276 universale nero acciaio inox 51 mm 90 mm

The Xavax Universal Tamper 00111276 is a compact coffee accessory designed to press and level ground coffee in portafilters and filter baskets. With a black and stainless steel finish, a 51 mm base diameter and 90 mm overall height, this tamper provides a stable, ergonomic surface for consistent tamping. Weighing approximately 370 g, its massing supports firm pressure to help achieve even coffee bed density and improved extraction.

Advantages

The tamper’s stainless steel base ensures a flat, rigid contact surface that resists wear and maintains an even compression across the coffee grounds. The black-coated handle offers a comfortable grip and visual contrast for easy alignment. Its universal 51 mm base fits many standard portafilters and baskets, and the 370 g weight contributes to steady tamping without requiring excessive force. The compact 90 mm height makes it convenient to store and compatible with most group heads.

Key specifications

• Base diameter: 51 mm
• Overall height: 90 mm
• Weight: 370 g (approximate)
• Materials: stainless steel base, black-coated handle
• Finish: polished stainless steel contact surface with black exterior

How to use

Place the correct amount of ground coffee into your portafilter or filter basket and level the surface by lightly tapping the side. Hold the tamper by its handle and position the 51 mm base squarely over the coffee bed. Apply steady, even pressure until you achieve a compacted, level puck. If necessary, twist slightly to polish the surface, then remove the tamper and proceed with brewing.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use a dosed amount of coffee and tamp with the same pressure each time. Clean the stainless steel base after each use to prevent coffee oil build-up. Verify compatibility with your portafilter size before use to avoid uneven tamping or damage to the basket.
