Why choose it

The TV 297 offers professional-grade thermal imaging in a compact, smartphone-powered design. Its high thermal sensitivity (<50 mK) reveals subtle temperature differences, while the 25 Hz frame rate ensures smooth, real-time imaging. The wide -20°C to +400°C range covers most electrical, mechanical, and building diagnostics tasks.

Ideal use cases

• Electrical maintenance: detect overheating connections, breakers, and fuses
• HVAC inspections: find duct leaks, insulation gaps, and coil issues
• Building diagnostics: locate moisture intrusion, missing insulation, and thermal bridges
• Predictive maintenance: monitor motors, bearings, and pumps for abnormal heat

Good to know

The camera is powered directly by the connected smartphone, so no separate battery or charging is needed. The Testboy TV 297 App provides real-time image analysis, spot/line/area temperature readouts, and multiple color palettes for optimal interpretation. The USB-C connection ensures compatibility with a wide range of modern Android devices and iPhones (with USB-C).
