The HP MC400 is a compact smart projector designed for portable HD projection in home and small meeting environments. It uses LCD projection with a native 720p (1280x720) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio, delivering clear high-definition images up to a 90-inch screen. The LED light source is rated for 20,000 hours, while 150 ANSI lumens brightness makes the unit suitable for dimly lit rooms. The projector includes auto focus, built-in 8 GB memory, Android TV for direct streaming and an intuitive 0–90° rotation design that enables floor-to-ceiling placement. Weighing approximately 0.7 kg and finished in white, the MC400 supports front, rear and ceiling projection and accepts USB-C power banks (45W) for flexible power options.

Advantages

Compact size and lightweight construction make the HP MC400 easy to move between rooms or to carry for presentations. Built-in Android TV and an integrated app store allow direct streaming without additional devices, and wireless projection from iOS and Android devices simplifies content sharing. Auto focus ensures images are sharpened instantly, while the 0–90° rotation and short-throw capability enable large-screen projection in limited spaces.

Recommendations

For best image quality, use the projector in dim or darkened environments and position it on a flat, stable surface. Maintain a clear line of sight between the projector and the projection surface when using wireless mirroring. If using a USB-C power bank, ensure it provides the required 45W power delivery. Regularly clean the ventilation grilles and avoid blocking air flow to maintain performance and prolong the LED light source life.
