Prolunga AS Schwabe 60271 — 10 m, rossa

AS Schwabe 60271 — 10 m, red extension cable is a 10-metre power lead intended for temporary indoor and short-term outdoor use. The cable provides extended reach for electrical devices so that tools, appliances and lighting can be positioned where fixed sockets are not available. The red jacket improves visibility on work sites and in domestic environments, and the compact coiled length makes the cable easy to transport and store.

Advantages

The extension cable combines a 10 m conductor length with a robust outer sheath suited for everyday handling. It features a standard mains plug and socket arrangement compatible with common household and workshop appliances. The red insulation increases visibility, reducing tripping hazards in busy areas. The design is lightweight and easy to roll up, facilitating transport between job locations and storage after use.

How to use

Unroll the extension cable fully to avoid heat build-up during use and inspect the plug, socket and cable sheath for damage before connecting to the mains. Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet and connect the device to the socket on the extension cable. Avoid overloading the extension cable by checking the combined rated current of connected devices and ensure that any outdoor use is short-term and the connections are protected from direct moisture.

Recommendations

Do not use the cable in permanently wet environments or bury it under flooring. Keep the cable away from sharp edges, hot surfaces and moving machinery. Store the cable rolled without tight knots and inspect periodically for wear; replace if the sheath or connectors are damaged.
