Prolunga AS Schwabe 60272, rossa, lunghezza 5 m

AS Schwabe 60272 is a red extension cable with a 5 m length designed to extend the reach of electrical devices safely and visibly. The cable is intended for general-purpose use where additional distance between the power source and equipment is required. Its red outer sheath improves visibility in workspaces, and the single-cable configuration provides a simple solution for connecting household appliances, power tools and lighting fixtures.

Advantages

The extension cable offers an immediate increase in reach without altering the connected device. Its coloured jacket helps reduce tripping hazards and improves identification among other cables. The construction is practical for both temporary site work and fixed placement, and the 5 m length balances portability with useful extension distance. The product is compatible with standard mains connections and intended for indoor and sheltered outdoor use where local regulations permit.

How to use

Before using the extension cable, inspect the cable and connectors for visible damage. Connect the plug end to a compatible mains outlet and insert the device plug into the socket end. Avoid overloading the cable by checking the power consumption of connected devices against the cable’s rated capacity as specified by local regulations and the product packaging. Route the cable to minimise trip hazards and avoid placing it near sharp edges, hot surfaces or water. When not in use, store the cable coiled loosely to prevent kinks.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable only with compatible mains voltages and within the maximum current rating indicated by applicable standards. Do not use a damaged cable, and keep the cable away from heat sources and sharp objects. For outdoor use, ensure connections remain sheltered from direct exposure to rain and moisture unless the product packaging explicitly states suitability for unprotected outdoor conditions.
