Extension cable AS Schwabe 60315, 16 A, black, 15 m is a 15-metre power lead designed to deliver mains power to appliances and equipment that require up to 16 A. The cable provides extra reach for indoor and outdoor tasks, temporary power arrangements and workshop applications while maintaining rated current capacity. Supplied in black, it is intended for straightforward deployment where a longer connection between the power source and the device is necessary.

Advantages

The cable supports continuous current up to 16 A and is 15 metres long, providing a balance between reach and manageable handling. How to use

Check that the connected appliance’s current draw does not exceed 16 A and inspect the cable for visible damage before each use. Fully uncoil the cable to avoid heat buildup, connect the plug firmly into a compatible socket, and then attach the appliance to the cable’s socket. Avoid routing the cable across sharp edges or high-traffic areas without protection, and do not overload the extension by connecting multiple high-current devices simultaneously.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable only with appliances and setups that match the rated current and voltage. Store the cable coiled in a dry place when not in use, keep it away from oils and solvents, and replace the cable if the sheath or connectors are damaged. For permanent or wet-area installations, use purpose-designed fixed wiring or professionally rated equipment compliant with local regulations.
