How to use

Connect the extension cable to a compatible mains socket and then plug the appliance into the free end of the cable. Ensure the socket and the device plug match in voltage and current rating and that the socket is in sound condition. Lay the cable so it does not create trip hazards or become pinched by furniture or doors. For outdoor or damp locations use only when permitted by local regulations and when connectors and the cable are rated for such temporary exposure.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable and connectors before each use; discard or replace the lead if there are cuts, exposed conductors, damaged plugs or signs of overheating. Do not overload the cable by connecting appliances whose combined current exceeds the rating of the socket or the cable. Avoid permanent outdoor installation; use a dedicated outdoor-rated cable or fixed wiring for long-term exterior power supply.
