AS Schwabe 60568 — 25 m, Black, Outdoor/Indoor Power Extension is a 25 metre black extension cable designed to extend electrical power supply both indoors and outdoors. The cable provides extended reach for power tools, appliances and garden equipment, helping place devices where they are needed without relocating the power source. Constructed for general-purpose use, the extension cable is suitable for temporary connections on construction sites, home renovation projects, gardening and routine household tasks that require extra cable length.

Advantages

The extension cable delivers a reliable, long reach that reduces the need for multiple connectors and minimizes tripping hazards by allowing neater cable routing. Its exterior sheath is designed for outdoor and indoor use, offering protection against light mechanical stress and environmental exposure typical of garden and building-site conditions. The product is straightforward to deploy and compatible with standard mains-powered tools and appliances within typical domestic and light professional load limits.

How to use

Unwind the cable fully before use to avoid heat buildup and ensure optimal electrical performance. Connect the extension cable to a properly rated and earthed mains outlet, then plug the appliance or power tool into the cable’s socket. Avoid using the cable if the sheath or connectors are damaged, and do not run it through doorways or windows where it could be pinched. For outdoor use, keep connectors raised from standing water and protected from prolonged direct exposure to severe weather.

Recommendations

Check the power rating of your appliance and ensure the combined load does not exceed the extension cable’s allowable current. For heavy-duty or continuous high-load equipment, use a cable and connector system rated for the required current and consider professional advice. Store the cable coiled and dry when not in use, and inspect periodically for wear or damage.
