Prolunga AS Schwabe 61364 — cavo 5 m con 1 presa, interno/esterno, IP44

The AS Schwabe 61364 extension cord provides a 5 m cable with one grounded AC outlet designed for both indoor and outdoor use. With IP44 protection against splashing water and solid particles, this extension makes it easier to position tools, appliances and garden equipment at a safe and convenient distance from fixed power points. The cord is intended for temporary connections and general household or outdoor tasks where a single protected socket extension is required.

Advantages

This extension cord combines a compact single-outlet design with a flexible 5 m cable length to extend power reach without adding unnecessary bulk. The IP44 rating offers splash and dust resistance that improves safety during outdoor tasks and in damp indoor areas. A grounded outlet provides earthing for compatible equipment, and the robust housing helps protect the socket from mechanical stress and weather-related wear during normal use.

How to use

Unroll the extension cord completely before use and inspect the cable and socket housing for visible damage. Plug the extension into a compatible, earthed mains outlet and then connect the appliance or tool to the grounded socket. Ensure that the cable is routed to avoid trip hazards and is not pinched by doors or heavy objects. Do not use the extension cord if the plug, cable or socket housing shows cracks, exposed conductors, or other damage.

Recommendations

For safe operation, use the extension cord only for temporary connections and avoid continuous heavy-load usage. Keep the socket and plug elevated and sheltered when used outdoors to reduce direct exposure to rain. Do not use the extension cord with high-power fixed installations or where IP44 protection is insufficient for the environment; consult the equipment specifications if in doubt.
